Hey guys, I feel silly for asking this, but how do I publish an unlisted web game for everyone? As I said, at the moment it's unlisted, but I'd like to get it listed.

Any help is appreciated.

Sounds silly, but it will be checked out, then it will be available for everyone...
But, if you want to rush it, post a link to your game here and then everyone that visits here will be able to try it out.

Go to your 'My Games' page and select 'View/edit game listing' for your game. There you can press 'Edit this listing' and change the 'Who can access this game?' option to 'Everybody'

You have to go to your game's web page and click the edit button. Then set it to be listed there.

Then you have to wait...

Hmmm, this should be the way to do it, but it isn't working. It's still unlisted. This seems to be a bug.

A moderator has to test it out before it get's listed.

Sometimes there are hundreds of games published in one day, and it may take them a little time to get through 'the stack'.

DL makes a good point, too. You can post a link here, so everyone can play it until it's listed.

This is not quite the default process, but it's the way most people do it:

• make the game
• upload/submit it as 'unlisted'
• post a link here for people to test it out (there's ALWAYS something you didn't notice that someone will find)
• edit the listing, so that EVERYONE can access it
• wait a few hours/days until it gets tested and listed
  • if more than a few days pass, post about it here (like you just did)

Could you test if this is really possible? I tried to change it but nothing happened. The game should appear as uncategorized in the game list then,right?

It appears that a moderator has to test and approve it first when you choose a category.

I selected 'no' under: Do you want to apply to put the game into a category?

This previously unlisted game is now in the Sandpit. (It showed up immediately.)

I selected 'yes' to choose a category this time. (I chose Educational, just in case that comes into play.)
