How do I delete my listing?

I have a listing that won't update. It's still saved as unlisted with the old file and title. How do I delete it so I can re-upload the new working file?

If it is created using the online editor, you should have a delete option to click (I think).

If it is created using the downloaded version, you should just be able to upload a new file since you are simply replacing an older version (working or not). You just need to edit listing on your game link site and click on upload new file, which will essentially overwrite the old file. I believe that will work. Let us know.

EDIT: I deleted the repost. It probably belongs in the Quest Forum but I'm not sure? Leaving it here will be just fine. Might move later.

Well, I didn't make it online. I've tried changing the file, but I'm not sure if it actually changed.

As you can see here: http://textadventures.co.uk/games/view/xegunlabw0_np_i_hy8uug/435-well-street-beta-not-finished

When I updated it I tried to change the title to "DEMO" instead of "beta NOT FINISHED" and then change the listing to public. Neither has happened. I don't know if it's the moderators testing the game or some kind of restriction thing or some weird rule about not being able to change the name, but I'd really like to just delete this listing so I can upload the demo without breaking the rule of only uploading new games. Because it this point it seems this listing it permanently stuck as an unfinished beta inaccessible to the public instead of just a lame demo to garner interest.

Could I contact a moderator/admin/higher power of the website and ask that it be removed?

I am a moderator (I think that's the title anyway=). You could just make the old version private, change the game name (under the set up tab of game), save the updated game version using the 'save as' and upload the newer version of the game to Quest.

I think, for whatever reason, only admins of the site can delete posted games. I'm sure an admin will see this soon and could offer a better solution.

So just upload the new version separate?

Yep. Can't hurt anything. Just make the other one private and no one will be the wiser - except you, of course. =)

Make sure you generate a new game ID, too. Button on the far right of the current game ID.
