Zod vs Grievous

I just realised that this particular forum has a significant shortage of on-topic posts. So figured I should present you all a question that's been burning at the back of my mind.

Two big bads, with both powers of their own and forces under their command. Who would win in a fair* fight? You might think General Zod is almost unbeatable, given the whole invulnerability thing. He's certainly stronger. But he's also (in most incarnations) solar powered. Get him away from Earth, and he's at a major disadvantage. And he seems to have something of a knack for getting tricked into situations where he loses his powers.

I think it could go either way. What do you think?
And if those two were somehow fighting for the fate of Earth, who would you want to win?

"And he [Zod] seems to have something of a knack for getting tricked into situations where he loses his powers."

Yeah, but Grievous has a tendency to lose all those lightsabers he's been collecting. And to die by blaster? That's just weak.

Zod is a "superman", but without sunlight he's just a man (without lightsabers and without the use of the force), and Grievious is just a robot.

Zod as "superman" wins every time, Grievious wins every time against Zod as an ordinary man

Zod the Immortal (from Berserk manga/anime) pwns both Zod and Grievious, hehe

Zod is just a "wanna be" and plagerizer of Nataru (who's an ajoran, can't spell, genetic super warrior aliens, who's able to teleport and go back in time, as well as super strength and speed) from Birdy the Mighty Decode anime: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qZjbNhLODKU

HK wants to see Samus Aran (from Metroid) kill/pwn everyone in star wars, hehe :D

How will each one of them be resurrected and are there any side effects?

Grievious is just a robot.

Actually he was a cyborg - like Darth Vader.

How will each one of them be resurrected and are there any side effects?

I think they're getting some kind of automated time-and-space paddle that brings them together some time when they were at their peak.

Zod the Immortal (from Berserk manga/anime) pwns both Zod and Grievious, hehe

Off topic though. I don't mind bringing in other opponents, but the title of 'best general' has to go to a general.

personally, it's not really possible to compare/evaluate who would win such character battles ... but it's fun to watch them, lol

semi-off-topic:

(Hulk smashes all, as he's the ultimate being: immovable object and unstoppable force, lol: hulk has infinite energy and absolute immunity/reflection to all threats/stimuli: he gets more powerful/stronger, nullifying any threat to him, upon whatever the threat or stimuli being used on him or experiences, one of the best comic movies of all time, it was done amazingly well: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0286716/ ---- do NOT see the UTTER CRAP that is: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0800080/ )

This is a reply to Hegemonkhan or anyone else interested:

I remember Krillin's (DBZ) voice actor said he thought Krillin could beat One Punch Man in a fight.
