When is v4.0 scheduled to be released? Reason I ask is I am considering buying Quest but I dont want to pay 30.00 dollars now only to find out v4 will be out next month or something and have to pay some more money for an upgrade or whatever. I would rather wait? Or is there a cut off for example any user that buys 3.x from this date until 4.0 release will get a free upgrade?

if you buy 3.53 you get a discount on 4.0

Just a discount that is not good, So if I pay 30 today and next week it comes out I pay 25 or even 10 and still it is extra money.

I will wait for 4.0 in this case.

Yes, there will be a discount on v4.0 for registered users of v3.53.

The new version won't be out for a few months at least - although I am hoping to release the first beta in the next few weeks.

I haven't decided on details of the discount yet, but I'll email all registered users when Quest Pro 4.0 is available with details. On release, those who bought Quest Pro 3.53 shortly before will be eligible for a free upgrade.

Or you could just wait for Quest v4.0

There's not much in the paid version of Quest 3.53 that's going to hold you back from building the base structure of your game.

Quest 4 will be backwards compatible so you'll be able to continue when it does come out.

Correct me if I'm wrong Alex, but those who purchase Quest get free upgrades for the entire version? So i'd recommend starting now, purchasing Quest 4.0 and continuing work on your game with the ability to use more features with the new version

I thought you only got a free upgrade if you'd recently bought Quest 3.53, not if you have a previous version.
