Different responses

I want to have a bunch of characters in my game that aren't important but aren't to 'computery' to talk to. What I mean is several responses from the one speak to command.

eg.
Speak to bob:
-"hello"
-"Nice weather we've been having today"
-"I must get that report finished"
etc.

If this is possible it will be helpful to take away too computery characters, or for others things as well.

You could show a menu when you speak to bob, to allow the player to choose what to say.

I would do that for more important people but I'm just looking for it to be quick and random (from a list of responses).

If that can't be done I''ll just go with a single response, but thanks for always answering my questions about quest anyway.
