First of all, I'd like to say "Hello". I just registered and am excited to be working with the Quest Software.(Awesome Stuff!!)
I would say over the last month I have become an Intermediate user.
I have a vehicle and it has an "OUT" exit called a Hatch. I found that having the vehicle in the Players Inventory works tojust move the player around and still be described as "In" the vehicle. Since this player/vehicle moves from room to room, How can I script an exit or Command to allow for the change the location when the exit (Hatch) is used. Please point me to a forum post that explains this if it exist,( I didn't see one) or give me an idea yourslf. I'm still working on the differences in Function, attributes, string and the likes.
Many of the wikis are too techy for me yet. Like in a string it will say (name) or (object) but doesn't explain if i use them or the actual (name) or (object). Exact instructions for now would be apprciated.(I learn fast) I was hoping to create a String in the game attributes to control this Globally, then refer to it in each instance as needed.
