Can anyone help, when you right click on a object and it brings up the action menu i.e "look at, examine, take, speak to". Is there anyway to add your own action commands to this menu i.e move or open. ?

This is not possible in the current version, though it is a planned feature.

That is a good thought. I was thinking Alex that the menu would support both Right Click and Left Click.
