I'm really loving the flexibility and level of detail provided by Mr. bRiT's library, and have to thank him for letting us use it! But I have come across what I think could be a minor bug - or maybe just a blank-spot in my brain - you decide.
For a detail hound like me, it's a great to have the ability to set an object as scenery without it appearing in the 'You can see' descriptions - although trying to anticipate what players will want to look at is another matter altogether
I have recently discovered that if one has a regular, visible object
and 'scenery' objects in a room, the default object prefix is incorrect. Although there may be four or five 'scenery' objects, they will not appear in the room description.
However, if there is also a visible object, the prefix is '
There are [visible object] here.' instead of referring only to the item with which the player can interact, ie. '
There is [visible object] here.'
I'm sure there's a way around this, using prefixes etc. but I'm still working the system out.
But apart from this small 'kink', I've found the library hugely helpful, and thank you for your efforts!
