I am so lost :(

I recently downloaded Quest and tried to create games on the Quest Game Editor trial version that came with it. Let's just say this...I have realised that I am totally noddy with computers! Or maybe it was the many commands and variables that you had to include in order to make a playable game.
What I meant to say is, I have got a storyline in my head all made up....it's just a matter of implementing it into a game...Any tips from experts for a beginner like me? :?

I remember reading a while ago that someone was thinking about doing a tutorial for Quest, but I don’t think anyone has yet. I would do one myself but I am still trying to figure out some things myself. What helped me learn was getting some games from the download page and then looking at the code, both in QDK and in a text editor to see how they did it, (but play the game first, otherwise it’s cheating :D).

Ok, well there's tons of stuff that I don't understand. For example, how do sometimes you can "press any key" for the the game to continue/begin?

In QDK just go to the script editor, add a command, Click on “Other” at the bottom of the list, then click on “Wait for the player to press a key”. You can put any prompt you want in the window provided, or no prompt at all. In a text editor it looks like “wait <Press Any Key.>”

P.S. Information like this can be found in the Quest & QDK manual.
