I was wondering if anyone would tell me how to change the HELP menu (the one that comes up when you type help when playing a quest game). I have seen it done before but cant work it out. Do you have to use ASL or is there a way around it? If you have to use ASL would some one please give me and example because i havent got a clue about ASL. Thanks in advance.

You've got to use a little ASL, but you can do it all from QDK

Go to 'Game Properties', 'Global settings' and click 'Edit Custom Player Commands'

Add a command in the usual way, so that it reads

command <help> helpdisplaytext <helpguide>

Leave that menu completely.

Now in the 'Text Blocks' menu make a new text block called 'helpguide' - put all the stuff you want in there...

Save & run - job done
