i'll say your english is bad. These are the forums about Quest, a text adventure game creator. This is the forum where we talk about nothing but Quest. If you wanted to talk about something else, use the Games and Chat forum. Personally I think that this thread should just be locked right away. It's stupid.

I don't normally comment on picky things like grammar and spelling but really, 007Bond, you should not complain of another person's English while not using capital letters and dropping the mammoth gaff of saying "it might OF been" instead of "it might HAVE been."

Sorry folks, that was boring but it hacks me off to see someone complaining of someone else doing what he, himself does. (Hastily checking my own spelling and grammar).

The Artist Formerly Known As Codingmasters (TAFKAC for short) seems to do that quite a bit. You'd think someone with such a poor grasp of the English language wouldn't be criticising other people's spelling and grammar.

I eagerly await his reply to this:

I must admit that I didn't understand either of slippy's messages nor his motive or whether his stuff was directed at 007Bond or myself.

"Round the twist" is an expression not unknown in the UK but whether we picked it up from the Ausies or they from us, I'm not sure. But for once I agree with 007Bond.
