Im gonna say start small.Learn how to use quests features and you will relise how to do things like that.Read through the Quest help (everyone here has, plus what you want is in there, look for variables) and study up on what you don't understand THEN post a question in the forums.

I'll second that. Read the manual, Gamemaker. Then work on your spelling because no one in their right mind is going to play your games if they're as riddled with spelling mistakes as your forum posts. Then ask your questions.

And try not to ask the same set of questions twice. Otherwise you'll have Tron telling you to 'bugger off' again.

Bahh, I say grammar is more urgent than 100% spelling - as long as the jist get's across.
I basically scan sentances now and make up the words as I go along... For example:

"Blah, blah blah blah-blah, blah 'variable named' blahhhh-de-blahh, bluuuur, bloo, blah!"

... Actually I think that's one of my own sentances somewhere!
