It has worked before, but now when I try to run the game that I am working on, instead of starting the game, it starts up the QDK again.

I have tried the icon, File|Run etc. Anybody have any ideas as to how to fix this?

Try right clicking on the file, select "open with" and then click Quest.

If you want a slightly more permenant fix than that, from windows explorer:

Tools => Folder Options
Under the File Types tab, choose the file extension from the list, and change the default program to Quest.

The registry is easier, though.

Actually, the easiest way is to shift and right click, select "open with.." then type in the programs name and location in - possibly after clicking 'other'.
Then you tick the little box that says "allways use this to open these file types".

If only on 98 it were so easy.
