Cannot see the rock for the forest path

Hi all. I've followed the instructions for the attached tutorial: http://docs.textadventures.co.uk/quest/guides/scenery.html

I have a rock as an object on one of the paths, as well as a tree object in the 'Master Forest'.
When I then play the game, I get this:

You are on a forest path.
You can see a tree, a forest path, a forest path, a forest path(containing a rock), a forest path and a forest path.

take rock
The forest path is not open

I realise that by making the rooms transparent, the problem has been created, but it would be great to have to describe the tree object only the once.

Has anyone done anything similar.

The trick in the tutorial relies on the objects being ticked as scenery, and described in the room descriptions, rather than listed.

There will be a better solution in Quest 5.7, which I would like tothink would be here soon...

How can I make the room ticked as scenery, or do I need to check it as 'Room and/or Object', for it to work.

Separate point: Why 'Quest 5.7' and not 'Quest 6', or even 'Quest 5.6.7' (NO! that's just silly)? Just thought I'd ask.

Set it as room/object, then tick it as scenery, then set it back to room.

I've just tried that. If I drop anything in the room, it doesn't show up in the 'You can see' script, but it does show up on the 'Objects and Places' panel. Also if i'm not in the room where I dropped the object, I get the same message, 'Forest path not open'.

Post your game as WIP, but don't publish it (that just add the extra Quest built-in code )
Then post the link here and you may be able to get better help than guesses...
