When playing any text adventures, no matter what I type or click absolutely nothing happens. I have not found anybody who had the same issue so far.

Online or on desktop?

Online it's likely a connection issue and may be fixed later. If it's not, check any userscripts, ad blockers, or your firewall.

On desktop, make sure Quest is set to run as an administrator..
