Quest's worst shortcoming

Fairly obvious to me : Quest is still prisoner in its "Windows-only" ghetto. As far as I can understand QuestJS has been abandoned, which is a pity, and very basic questions ( Web-only or not ) are still being asked about Quest 6.0, which shows that the product is not even fully defined.
I understand that something like Quest 6.0 is an enormous amount of work that can be intimidating.
As a stopgap, as an interim measure, could QuestJS be completed ? Much of the work could probably be re-used in 6.0.

P.S : No offence meant, Alex, really.

The latest version of the Quest roadmap is what I wrote in this post about 6 months ago, explaining the current plan for Quest 6.0, Quest 7.0 and QuestKit 8.0: http://textadventures.co.uk/forum/questkit/topic/5852/is-questkit-still-happening

Quest 6.0 is my current main side project, now that I've finished the project to migrate the forums. I've been tinkering with it over the last few days in fact... https://github.com/textadventures/quest/tree/v6

I'm hoping to do at least a Preview release by the end of the year, which will let you test your existing games with the new JavaScript runtime.

Thanks, Alex. Very gratifying.
