To get the horse to stop following you, enter: HORSE, STAY.
To get the horse to follow you, enter: HORSE, FOLLOW ME.
If the horse isn't in the location, you can WHISTLE, and the horse will come directly, as long as you're outside when you whistle. (It may take a few turns for the horse to arrive, depending on how far away it is.)
(color: black)[**Your SPELL READER**]
You can cast any spell that's in your spell reader on someone or something with no memorizing/learning. For instance, to cast the NITWIT spell on Ralph, you would enter: NITWIT RALPH.
If you are not carrying your spell reader (and it's not in your satchel), the only spell you can cast is the FUREM spell. (You know it by heart.)
If you find a scroll with a new spell, scan it into your spell reader by entering: ZSCAN SCROLL.
(You can cast a new spell without ZSCANNING it, but you can only cast it one time and you must be holding its scroll. If you do this, the scroll will disappear, and you will not be able to cast the spell again. If you ZSCAN the scroll, you will have the spell in your reader for the duration. This way, you can cast the spell an infinite amount of times.)
(You can also use the old commands from the classic Z-machine text adventures to cast the equivalent spells. I.e, GNUSTO will do the same thing as ZSCAN.)

When the game begins, you are "fit as a fiddle", but you will die after getting shot 5 times, so be careful!
(<b>NOTE:</b> There are instances where getting shot is unavoidable, so don't go UNDO crazy just because you get wounded a few times.)

You can enter TALK TO someone.
OR, you can enter something like ASK RALPH ABOUT THE GAME or TELL CHAINSAW ABOUT THE G-TACKER or RALPH, GIVE ME THE LASER-SWORD.

The status line displays the time and your health throughout the game.
If your horse is following you, you will see (color: white) + (background: black)[ ^ ]

When carrying a revolver, you'll see (color: white) + (background: black)[ > 6 ]
(where 6 would be how many shots are in the pistol)

Ralph likes dodos.

He should come in pretty handy in a couple of instances.
