@@.hide; There's a laundry chute off to the side, also with dried blood around the door. There seems to be more blood caked on it. There's an awful smell to it.@@

@@.hide;A small TV occupies the furthest wall, with a large shelf next to it filled with VHS tapes. The room is quiet aside from the TV playing a romance movie at a very low volume.@@

@@.hide;[[Leave->Enter the recreation room]] @@The second operating room is a lot like the first. Except the fact that it's absolutely filthy. Dried blood everywhere, puddles of pus and unknown substances litter the floor. There are tools scattered about.

@@.hide; You see another laundry chute. At least they can get rid of dirty clothes there. But there's something about it.@@

[[Leave the room->Go down the hallway to your left]]@@The chute smells worse than the whole room. Is this where they toss their used scrubs? What else could be in here you wonder.
@@.hide;You open the chute and take a peak inside. What you see horrifies you.@@
@@.hide;A pile of body parts, seemingly clogging the chute. You see a partly decomposed head, face and all and you immedeatly shut it.@@
@@.hide;Sickness overwhelms you. But how can you feel it so intuitively? Aren't you just dreaming?@@
@@.hide;Is this what they did with her when she died?@@
@@.hide;Wait, who's "her"?@@

@@.hide;As soon as you enter you get an immediate feeling of comfort and warmth. A young man is sitting on the bed, reading a book. The man has a gash on his forhead that's been set with then stitches. @@
@@.hide;You approach him and see the thin plastic bracelet on his tight wrist. It reads "Niles Lancaster Age: 23"@@
@@.hide;Suddenly, another young man appears at the door. "Niles!" He calls, running right through your non coporeal form. You want to say "excuse me" but you remember that you're some kind of a ghost right now. Still, no one can see, touch or hear you right now.@@
@@.hide;The other young man runs in, immediately hugging Niles. "I was so worried! Are you alright? Does it hurt?"@@
@@.hide;Niles smiles at him and pets his head gently. "It doesn't hurt. They have me on some pain meds so I'm doing alright. I'm just glad you're alright, Leo."@@
@@.hide;Leo leans forward and kisses Niles on the lipcs before pulling back and wiping the tears from his eyes. "I'm so happy you're alive, Niles."@@

@@.hide;The young woman smiles at the nurse, turning off the TV and turning her attention to the nurse.@@
@@.hide;"Hi, Luca. How have has the cast been treating you?" The nurse asks, looking over her clipboard and scribbling down some notes.@@
@@.hide;"Well enough! It just gets itchy sometimes, but I'm sure that's too be expected!" Luca says cheerfully.@@
@@.hide;Wow, what a bright demeanor. She really lights up the room.@@
@@.hide;The nurse nods and smiles at her before leaving, shutting the door behind her.@@
@@.hide;There's a silence and you notice Luca start to shake.@@
@@.hide;Is she crying?@@
@@.hide;Luca bits her lip, trying to stop the tears from falling from her bright hazel eyes. @@
@@.hide;"Oh, don't cry now." She says to herself, as she lets out a sob. "So you probably won't be able to play soccer anymore, big deal." She chides herself. She continues to sob and sniffle. "B-But I love it so much! How can I just give it up?"@@
@@.hide;She won't be able to do something she's passionate about. That sounds familiar. @@

@@.hide;A young woman sits on the bed. She has blonde hair and blue eyes and a sour look on her face. She looks to the meal in front of her, a half eaten sandwich and some fruit on the bedside table. She grimaces at the food and pushes it away.@@
@@.hide;Another young woman sits beside her on a chair next to the bed. She speaks in a quiet voice. "Bianca, please, you need to eat."@@
@@.hide;"How can I eat at a time like this? I could die tomorrow." Bianca snaps.@@
@@.hide;There is a silence.@@
@@.hide;"Bianca, please don't say that. The surgery will go just as planned, I know it!" The woman speaks up.@@

@@.hide;This feeling of familiarity washes over you and you start to feel sick.@@

@@.hide;Allrain, presumably, speaks softly, as not to wake their child. "Yes, Fauna. We've tried so hard and everything has finally paid off." He kisses her forehead. @@
@@.hide;"I was so worried I was infertile. But, our baby is proof that miracles can happen."@@

@@.hide;"Great! I mean, as great as I can be! I have family visiting soon! They're awfully said about having to say goodbye, but I try to assure them that I'm happy!"@@

@@.hide;You can tell he's on hospice. He doesn't have much time left it seems.@@
