Magnus pulls out a bucket of lava, glad he remembered to bring the essentials to this all-night party. Given a few minutes, he builds an elaborate "fountain" system to spurt the lava hundreds of chunks into the air.
Upon realizing he's a little short on the most important aspect of his creation, he pulls out a second bucket.
The dragon notices the impact Magnus' fountain is having on the rest of the environment, and makes its way towards him. Magnus, forgetting what he was going to do once dragon senpai noticed him, makes a run for it. He winds up at the only unoccupied tower.

This works surprisingly well, and the dragon diverts its attention from Soren.
Once Magnus realizes that the dragon is headed right for him, he jumps off, then throws an Ender pearl at the floor to lessen his impact.
Gaining an idea, he sprints for the only unocuppied tower, in hopes of facing the dragon from there.
He finally arrives, and quickly makes his way to the top just before the dragon meets him there. Magnus draws his enchanted golden sword, glad to be facing the dragon by himself, mano-a-mano...
...Except he isn't.

Ellegaard, out of ideas, decides to build a catapult to hurl herself at the dragon. A reckless idea, but at least it would get the dragon's attention... assuming she aimed well.
After quickly building, she loads herself on.
The contraption fires, flinging her past the dragon (at which she fires a few good shots from her bow) and landing her on the only unoccupied tower.
With a smirk, she begins work on a project to keep the dragon from reaching the others- something that would distract Magnus, like bright flashing fireworks.
Once her build is finished, she double checks to ensure that everything will work the way it's supposed to, knowing full well that any disastrous setbacks could not be afforded. Ellegaard acknowledges her facing the dragon alone with a sigh of relief, wondering what horrible mishaps would occur if she wasn't taking the dragon on by herself...
...Except she isn't.

The dragon flies unexpectedly close to where Ellegaard hovers, catching her off guard. Unable to aim at the dragon due to its rapid circling around her, she hatches a new plan. Leaping away from the water, she equips her enchanted diamond pickaxe and swings.
Her stroke of the pickaxe proves to be a stroke of genius, swiping into the dragon's hide and earning the entirety of its focus.

From there, she turns to face the dragon, confident in her ability to fight the dragon itself on her own...
...except she isn't as "on her own" as she would normally prefer...

Fire rains down from above. Meanwhile, the gang has just made its way outside, with Gabriel soon to follow.

Aiden stares at Jesse, then lifts his gaze to the dragon. A glare soon replaces his expression of fear. He takes an item from his inventory, and shouts at his rescuer.

Aiden: This chunk of TNT is modified, noob. Even if it can't kill the dragon, it's the perfect distraction until everyone gets inside!
Jesse: Aiden, for Lukas' sake, please don't do this! You won't be of any help if you're dead!

Jesse and Lukas each build a walkway- Jesse with dirt, Lukas with cobblestone- to avoid the fires as they hurl themselves towards the most dangerous beast to ever spawn in their realm.
The Ender Dragon notices, looks down at Aiden, and carefully lifts its claw for one last strike.

On the other side, they stand on a large mountain of brittle Nethrakk, faced with oceans of lava, vicious monsters, desolate clusters of land, and a skyless as far as the eye can see.
