I'm trying to make a scene where the player starts in their apartment. They have to go to work, but they can choose not to and get fired in the process. But after I type "Go back home" after going to work, nothing happens and I am forced to restart. What do I do?

I've tried moving the player but that doesn't work.

Gamebook or Text Adventure? I assume it’s a TA, but...

Do you have some script associated with “go back home”?

Just need more details.

Is "back home" the alias of an exit in the work location that leads to home?

Remember that when the player types the "go" command, they need to enter the alias of the exit, not the name of the room they're going to.
