Are there any? There's been a bit of spam lately - I've commented in the relevant posts, as there doesn't seem to be a way to report the posts / accounts.

Spam posts get removed eventually; it's just that none of the moderators here are full-time, and it might take a few days before they get to it.

There's a thread in the "Site Announcements and Feedback" forum where people post links to spam posts they've noticed, but after a few weeks where the mods have spotted it first, the post has been locked for inactivity. It might be worth creating a new post there if you see more, as I expect those responsible for the site are likely to check that forum more regularly.

How long do people normally wait for their games to be approved and put into a category? I'm a patient person, but I'm starting to think I've been forgotten... I published my game (http://textadventures.co.uk/games/view/tzlhbdzwf0svfils4ufoqq/geocaching-in-the-park) on September 12th, but it still reads:

'This game is currently uncategorised as it has not yet been checked by a moderator. After it has been checked by a moderator, it will be moved into the appropriate category.'

Is it normal to wait this long? Thanks, in advance.

@nikib42, I see there have been 41 games posted since 12 Sept and only one moderated since 4 Aug. I've offered my services as a new moderator but had no response. Are we alone?

I hate to talk out of turn, but this game/forum was never all that popular or "full" of people to begin with. Granted back in the day there was more traffic. But it seems like now there is hardly any. A post may receive only a couple or no responses at all. Granted not every post warrants a response, oddly enough. But most, if not all of the threads are affected by little to no replies.

And DavyB, if you are not even being replied to with your request to help, I assume for free, especially if you have prior experience, who knows. After the site and game switched hands, I am not sure how much the new owners kept up with it.
