I'm testing one of my games, but the command bar is not showing at the bottom of the screen, EVEN THOUGH the settings are set to have a command bar. What should I do? Please don't tell me I have to start all over again from scratch...

You probably don't have to start all over again from scratch.

1. Are you using the desktop version or the online editor?

2. Are you creating a gamebook or a text adventure?

Make sure you do not have either of these anywhere.

      request (Hide, "Panes")

Do you know how to search code? If you are uncomfortable doing the following, don't do it. Changing stuff here can be a huge headache to fix. If you're not sure how to, go to code view (little notecard icon near the top right), do 'ctrl + F', and type in HideCommandBar or Hide, "Panes". See if that shows up anywhere and let us know.

Also, have you messed with padding or screen size formatting in any way? Let us know that too.

Double check the game tab and look at the interface. See if Show command bar is ticked in the box. I know you said it was, but double checking never hurt anyone. =)

Have you altered the colors of the background or command bar box? Is there a chance it is blending in?

That's all I can suggest at the moment. Someone will likely come around with more eloquent info.
