Do google drive links work?

For images? (or music)

Hello.

Have you tried using a Google Drive link?

Nope, I guess it wuld be reasonable to try it myself lmao.

Ok, so no it doesn't work but would there be a site I can just upload an image to that would give me a valid link? (btw I tried MarkDown too and it didn't work, and in Preview mode.) Maybe I should just switch to cli or desktop version...

:)

It's no problem. I was just wondering if you had tried it already and failed.

When looking for info, you can search the forum using the Google site search thingy at the bottom of the Forums page:

Just make sure you're clicking on results that concern Squiffy and not Quest.

NOTE: In this case, the search doesn't return anything worth note. So, trying it with this issue is a waste of time, but the forum's search results are usually quite enlightening (even if the search method sucks -- it's a little hard to see the results and it's a bit of a pain to navigate through them).

Dang it! I was hoping it would work.

I've never used it, but most people around here recommend Imgur. They say it's totally free to set up an account and use it.

Alternatively, you can set up a GitHub account (if you don't already have one), and you can copy images, paste into a Gist comment, and it will magically turn into a markdown link which you can copy and paste here.

That's how I did the screenshot in this post.

This is the text GitHub magically inserted in the comment field when I took a screen shot and hit CTRL+V in the comment field:

That is Markdown. You can copy the bit from inside the () and you have the link:

Markdown should work in Squiffy (I think), but you can use that link to do it HTML-style:
