His eyes open.

"So where the hell where you?" he asks.

You help Jeff up and stumble towards the lab.
You open the lab door.

Everything's intact.

"Felt a shake. Something happen?" asks the scientist.
" Oh, nothing big, just crashed," Jeff says in heavy sarcasm. You notice he is limping.
"Alright, let's check the perimeter, secure the area."

You and Jeff exit the plane and explore.


Before long, you see a figure in the distance. The Martian sand makes the figure hard to see. It's approaching you.

Carrying not much weight you manage to reach the house before getting knocked down by the sand.

You do an action movie style spin in mid-air and take 3 shots with
your pistol.

After all he was your friend.

Bob turns around smiling.

The smile melts off his face as he sees Jeff's body in your arms.

"What the...what...what happened!?" asks Bob, tears gleaming in his eyes.

"This thing, like a giant lizard or something att-" you say.

Bob cuts you off.

"SO YOU'RE TELLING ME HE DIED BUT YOU GOT AWAY!" he screamed.

"Well.."

"If Jeff dies", says Bob quietly,"so do you."

Bob pulls a pistol out of his lab coat and points it at your head.

His finger is trembling on the trigger.

But you leave Jeff's body in the storage hanger.

"Where's Jeff?" asks Bob.

"Oh... He said he was gonna scout around more, said he'll probably stay out a few sols" you say.

Inside the structure, there was a humanoid reptile on the chair.
