It is a lovely, sunny day. You can see the light coming in from behind your bedroom curtains which is what initially woke you up. Sitting up in bed you can't help but remember the stuff you have to get done today.
[[Lay back in bed]]
[[Get out of bed and get ready for the day ahead of you]]
[[Stare at the corner of your bedroom]]The groaning noise begins, horrible and blood curdling.
You peek your head above the covers you had hid yourself under the apparition of all your fears is crawling across the floor.
She is like a friend to you. Yet you ignore her, always.
You pretend she isn't real.
[[Get out of bed and get ready for the day ahead of you]]
You get out of your warm, cosy bed. Stretching as your feet touch the ground. There is movement out of the corner of your eye and your heart can't help but drop.
You ignore her. She is always here, whether sitting in the corner or crawling along your bedroom floor. You know she is real, you can see her right in front of you. You cant remember how long shes been here but you know she's been here ever since your younger sister died.
[[Repress the memory]]
[[Kneel Down and wait for the creature to reach you]]
[[Ignore the creature]]
Theres something there, you've been trying to ignore it but you know there is something there, watching you.
You feel uneasy. You notice that your breathing has become laboured.
[[Pretend you don't see it]]
Of course you pretend you always pretend. Because what is sat there is proof of what you did. Ignoring has always been easy for you.
But it doesn't deny the fact that you are scared.
Terrified of the child sat in the corner of your room. It's eyes holes of rotting flesh.
[[Begin to cry out of fear]]
You decide not to pay anymore attention to it than you had been already. You remember you need to go to the shops today, you wanted to buy some flowers for your house.
Tending to plants has always made you feel less lonely.
No matter how much you try, your thoughts always drift back to your little sister.
She is right in front of you after all.
You can feel your face becoming wet from the tears that are now pouring down your face.
No matter how hard you try you can't ignore the pathetic, corpse-like creature crawling towards you.
As she comes closer, you reach out a hand that you place lightly upon her head. You sigh shakily, staring down at the half corpse.
She looks up at you, she really is a rotting corpse.
You're kind of scared but you always remember her smiling face before all of this, all the times you played together in the back garden whilst your Mum sat on a garden chair, smoking a cigarette as she watched the both of you.
Removing the hand you placed on her head, you bring your hands to your face as you being to sob weakly. What remains of your little sister watching as you broke in front of her. Ever since your younger sister had died you had tried everything to bring her back to life. It's been nearly a year? You haven't been keeping track. Everyone around you told you it was an obscene idea. Nobody can be brought back to life after death.
You wanted the world for your sister. She didn't deserve her fate. That's why you tried bringing her back to the living.
But now she is sat in the corner of your bedroom, making inhumane noises. Noises that sound nothing like the laughs that used to come from her.
You sit there and weep.
She's like this because of you.

Every single day you have ignored the pathetic creature that traversed around your room.
She was your little sister, you knew that. But she wasn't that anymore. She died a while back. This was just a souless husk.
You only keep her around so that you don't have to feel the guilt of killing her with your own hands.
You get ready and leave your bedroom, shutting the door behind you.
You sigh,
"Heres to a good day"
