The sun blazed down from the sky, as a little girl skipped across an open road. The stones were pathed in the sun’s orange skin.
The rays shone through the timber trees and the leaves danced to her cheerful rhythm.
“Oh my little girl.”
“I give you bowls of nice”
“I give you bowls of green”
“I give you loads of hugs”
“and a bowl of ice… creeeeam”
“Ice cream! Ice cream! Let’s have ice-cream Tteddy”
The little girl said while swinging her favourite toy in the air.
“Oops. I better be careful, else your loose eye will come out. Huh, teddy?” The little girl giggled
“Let’s get some ice-creeeeeam!”
Further along the trail she pranced from the sun burnt road to the grassy street. Humming her song merrily, branding a smile from ear to ear.
A strong gust of wind rattled the trees. Some dirt flew into the little girl’s eye.
"ugh."
"mmmmm."
"aaah"
She huffed and moaned as she franticly rubbed her face.
The girl laied her teddy on the ground, using the lower half of her t-shirt to wipe the dirt from her face.
The wind blew once more. This time knocking the little girl down, swiping her teddy from her.
[[Chase after Teddy]]
[[Abandon Teddy]]
The little girl chased in the direction of the wind. In a mission to reclaim their best friend.
Teddy was caught in some bushes. He was stuck in between some branches.
[[Pull]]
"Teddy!"
"Ugh. This is no time to play “Hide ‘n Seek, Teddy."
"We can’t be out this late. We gotta go home”
The little girl looked up at the sky and scrunched her face.
“It's getting dark. I gotta get home soon."
"Fine. I’ll find you tomorrow Teddy. I promise”
“Dad will play to. Be safe, okay Teddy.”
[[Hurry Home]]
The girl pulled and pulled tighter. Teddy was getting looser. She could almost see his face.
“Come on teddy we have to go home”
Teddy flung out of the blushes, the little girl spun in joy.
“You don’t have to worry…”
“Teddy! Your eye!
[[Look for Teddy's eye]]
[[Apologize to Teddy]]
The little girl pulled from her teddy’s head, breaking of the branches latching on.
The girl manged to get teddy out.
She noticed one of Teddy’s eyes were lose.
“Don’t worry teddy. Mummy can fix it” She smiled
“Be happy Teddy. “We did it. You are rescued”
The girl jumped for joy. Flying her teddy in the air.
As she jumped around praising herself over her heroic efforts. Teddy lose eye, flew off his face”
“Ah. Teddy. I’m sorry”
[[Look for Teddy's eye]]
[[Apologize to Teddy]]
The little girl goes pass the bushes and see they is a steep slope leading to a ditch.
But she can see something sparkling
“I think I can see your eye Teddy”
[[Go Down]]
[[Apologize to Teddy]]
“I’m really sorry Teddy. Please don’t be sad at me”
“We should hurry home and mummy can sow a new eye”
“Let hurry home. Right teddy?”
[[Run Home]]
“I’ll go get the eye. You stay safe Teddy”
She said as she placed her teddy by the bushes. Ensuring that Teddy will be safe.
“No more running away. Okay Teddy”
The little girl slid down the slope. The ground was less solid as she expected; it was muddy. The ground was as think as a swamps and as soft as a marsh.
The little girl sledged through the sludge, waving towards the shiny object. Slower and slower, the little girl came through. Slowly sinking in further with each step.
“It’s your eye Teddy” She said with her head barely above the muddy ground.
The eye was conveniently perched on a tree stump. She grabbed onto the edge and pulled herself up.
“I got it. See Teddy” She shouted waving the eye at Teddy.
[[Look Down]]
The little girl squirmed. Her right leg wouldn’t come out of mud.
“Ugh. I think I’m stuck” She whinged
The more she pulled the tighter the mug gripped her leg. Suffocating her blood flow.
The little girl tried to wipe away the muddy slime and her hands were begin to get caught as well.
“Teddy. I’m sinking”
“Go get daddy, Teddy”
“Help me, daddy”
She began panicked. Flailing about trying not to sink in. Every scream and movement she was swallowed deeper.
As her teddy watched on water began to fall on its shoulder. A dark shadow loamed over the little girl teddy.
It picked up the little girl teddy and hugged it tightly…
…crying.
[[- DEAD END- ->On my way Home]]
The little girl grabbed her teddy’s leg, trying to pull it out.
Teddy body was slowly appearing how the bushes. The little girl gasped as she heard a ripping sound.
“Are you okay, Teddy?”
[[Pull harder from Teddy's Leg]]
[[Pull from Teddy’s head]]
Whispering stories to her teddy as she walked up a long hill upon the door steps of an old barn house. The house was painted urban red and the frame was white as oyster shells.
The little girl dashed up the sturdy pine stairs. The smell of lilac brushed her face. She pushed open the front doors and bellowed her voice so sweetly.
“We’re home. We’re here”
“Mum. Dad. Are you home?”
She staggered into the house, closing the door behind her. Silence filled the empty house. She yelled again, her voice trembled waiting for a reply.
Her calls fell on empty waves. Again, she received no reply back. She was alone.
“We’re by ourselves again, Teddy.”
“What should we do?”
[[Play with Teddy]]
[[Go upstairs]]
She walked up a long hill upon the door steps of an old barn house. The house was painted urban red and the frame was white as oyster shells.

“There still not here, Ted…”
The girl looked down at her empty hand. She sighed as she fell to the ground.
“I’m by myself again”
“Ted… dy.” The little girl cried
[[Go back for teddy]]
[[Stay in the house]]
“We should play, while we wait for mummy and daddy. Right Teddy?”
The little girl dashed around from room to room pretending that she’s flying.
Going faster and faster into a circle as she spun around the living room. The bare walls echoed with her laughter. She was happy.
She tumbled down, rolling along the burlap rug. Over and over again, she rolled left and right. Jumping up, preforming backflips as a circus act. She was now a trapeze performer, with tons of thousands adored her great act.
She smiled towards her one important fan among sea of people, whom watched in amazement to await her stunning finale.
She performed one more back flip, then cartwheeled into the hallway. With a final finishing move, the little girl turned her cartwheel into a triple rollie-pollie and jumped into the air.
“Ta-Da”
The little girl chanted, taking a huge gasp of air.
The applause she once heard turned cold with the echo of silence. Releasing she was once more she was still alone.
“I wished they come back soon”
“I really missed them.”
[[Try not to cry]]
The little girl walked up the spiral stair case. Holding onto the soft, sanded pine banister as it turned to harsh moss oak while her hand passed its surface. Tapping, humming, the girl began to mummer. Her eyes faded pale, with ever floor she passed.
The approached the third floor. The wind howled through the floor fiercely, almost scarping across the drywall. The hallway was dark and in ruin. The walls were imprinted with the patches of missing portraits. The moonlight reflected of the little girl’s bright pale eyes. Shining light into the derelict corridor.
“I don’t remember the house being this big, Teddy”
“It seemed a lot smaller, with mum and dad here. Do you think they are hiding from the weather too, Teddy?”
“Yeah Teddy. The weather is really bad. I wonder if adults get scared too”
“I here singing, teddy”
The howls of the wind turn calm against the song as the sound whispered in the air softly, along the corridor. It was hard to hear the words, but the girl knew the chime.
“Oh my little ~~girl”
“I give you~~ bowls of nice”
“I give you ~~bowls of~~ green”
“I give you loads of hugs”
“and ~~a bowl of~~ ice…”
[["Cream!!"]]
The sky began to pour with rain. The drops of rain bashed against the door like thunder
The little girl stood up and turned to the front door. She wavered to go searching for her missing teddy.
As she was about to pull the handle, a bolt of lightning discharged onto the ground. The little was pulled back in shock
The held herself while ventilating. She cried once more.
“I hope you’re not scared too, Teddy”
“I’m sorry teddy.”
“I left you. Now we’re both alone”
“TEEDDDDDDDY!” she squalled
“I want my teddy. I want my teddy back”
The little crying herself to sleep.
A few hours passed and a droplet from the outside tapped her face. Trailing the path her tear stained cheek.
[[Try to stop crying->Try not to cry]]
“Maybe I should go play, until mummy and daddy come back”
The little girl dashed around from room to room pretending that she’s flying.

“I really wish you were here waiting with me, Teddy”
[[Try not to cry]]
Laying her head against the door, slowly wilting to the ground. The weather became rougher. The sound of thunder cracked against the house like a whip. The ceiling started dropped with water from the outside.
The door began to chip along her horizontal path, spreading cracks along the floor. She sighed in frustration as she rested her head on her knees. Curling herself tightly, she tried to hold back her tears.
The girl picked herself from the cold, damp carpet, and ran down the along the long hallway. Hiding from the wind’s scream. With every step the carpet smooched against the floor. Louder and louder the wind and thunder howled.
The girl couldn’t run anymore. She fell at the feet of the spiral stair case.
[[Scream]]
The girl screamed and screamed until her head went blank.
“Mum!”
She bellowed.
“Dad!”
She huffed, grabbing her voice
Confused as to why, no-one ever answered her. She burst out into tears. It was hard to tell the difference between her tears and the droplet from the leaky roof. Something soft brushed her head, she tilted her head to the side to see what it was.
[[Look Up]]
The little girl became overwhelmed at the warm sight of her best friend.
“Teddy” She gleamed. She cuddled her teddy tightly to her face, rocking it back and forth.
“I’m glad I have you. She sobbed. Sucking up her tears.
“You always come when I’m sad”
“I love you, Teddy. I love you”
“Let’s hide from weather, Teddy”
“We should be safe upstairs”
“I hope mum and dad come back soon.”
[[Go upstairs]]
“It’s coming from that small box in the ceiling, Teddy”
The little girl wandered under the small box in the ceiling.
“Do you know what that is, Teddy? It’s an attic”
“I’ve never been to the attic, either Teddy.”
“Daddy said it’s not a place for children to play.
But I could up there when I’m older. Teddy”
“I wonder what’s up here, teddy”
The door swung down towards the girl feet; releasing a ladder.
The little girl climb up the ladder, making it half way before the ladder started to wobble. The ladder wasn’t unsteady and flailed with each step closer to the top. Each creak rippling within the wind.
[[Continue going up]]
[[Go back down]]
She climbed up towards the attic door and pulled herself onto the floor.
Her ears piqued to the sound of something rolling across the floor. It glided its way to her, tumbling against her face. The girl grabbed the object as she stood up.
“Oh look. It’s your missing eye, teddy”
“I wonder why it was up here? Maybe mummy found it for you, teddy”
“Teddy?”
“Teddy?!”
“Where’d you go, teddy?”
The roof rumbled a bit, striking dust into the air. The girl coughed, choking on the thick air.
“Come on. Where are you teddy? It’s so dusty.”
“Don’t play hide and seek again, teddy”
“Not here, Teddy. Daddy said it was dangerous”
[[Look for Teddy]]
“This isn’t safe Teddy. We should go back down.”
The little girl was about to climb back down, then a sudden noise piqued her ears. It sounds like a marble rolling closer across the floor.
The wind began to howl again
[[Check out the sound->Continue going up]]
[[Continue going back down]]
The little girl began to tear up.
“I don’t like this Teddy”
“I just want mum and dad to be home”
As she rushed to get down, one of the step split. The little girl fell flying down the ladder. Landing at its foot.
Her Teddy was slid a few feet from her head. The rolling sound became a light tapping sound as the object bobbled down the ladder steps.
The object feel onto the girl’s hand. It was her Teddy missing eye.
[[- DEAD END- ->On my way Home]]
The girl pattered slowly through the attic, searching for her missing teddy. The attic was getting darker as the girl moved forward, but she wanted to find her missing friend.
The girl hands grazed against a black wall, she walked all the way to the end. The girl turn back, tripping over a leather shoe.
“This looks like daddy’s”
“It looks kind old too”
A piece of fabric brushed along her left hand. The little girl suddenly turned
“Ah. There you are teddy.”
“Oh! You found mummy and daddy, Teddy”
“Now we can all play together”
The girl jumped into her parent’s lap. Laying back peacefully on a pile of ivory and cloth. The little girl breathed out blissfully as the black pearl eye fell out of her fading hand, gliding across the floor once more towards the attic door.
