This game is designed on one of our closed readings Binti. â€œBintiâ€ is a science fiction novel written by Nnedi Okorafor. The story of this takes place somewhere far in the galaxy. The hero of this novel is â€œBinti Ekeopara Zuzu Dambu Kaipka of Namibâ€ belong to Himba tribe which is from the Earth. Throughout Binti, readers find themselves in a position to gain insight into Bintiâ€™s culture, her past, and personal growth.Enough for an intro, let's explore more about Binti's life and her culture which is the reason she is able to survive and fight against all odds.'' Binti discovers that her decision to attend Oomza has caused all kinds of friction between herself, her family, and the Himba community as a whole. As Binti's family seems not in Binti's favor to leave to the tribe because â€œHimba they donâ€™t travelâ€ and they â€œstay putâ€ (Okorafor, pp.12-13). According to her mother, Oomza university wants her â€œfor its own gainâ€ and her mother thinks that Binti is going to be their â€œslaveâ€ (Okorafor, p.14). Her immediate family members-including her aunt and uncles who consider that Binti has "scandalized the entire bloodline" and she is "going to be a pariah"(Okorafor, p. 10). Binti decides to stay with her family as it is a hard decision to leave the family against their will. As her culture teaches her not to leave as no one has stepped out from their tribe so far. She would continue her life with her family as a "master harmonizer" and keeping building astrolabes with her father.<img style="float: right;" src ="C:\Users\mandeep.saini\Documents\Twine\Stories\media\Himba-girl.jpg" alt ="Himba Girl"> She would keeping snuck out to the lake with her friends and she would wash and scrub off all the "otjize using the lake's salty water"(Okorafor, p.71). "Otjiza" is a sweet-smelling mixture Himba women use to apply to their face and plaited hair, and has wondrous effects on keeping skin and braids healthy and young. They would be considered as "mentally unstable" if poeple of their tribe find out they have wiped out the "otjiza" and "that too would ruin" their "chances of marriages." Binti ship is attacked by Meduse, an alien species looks like Jelly-fish with tentacles and furious in nature. In Binti's culture "it is blasphemy to pray to inanimate objects but she" is doing it when her ship is gone under attack.Here comes the best part of the game, Quiz Time!. Eventually, she finds out that she is the only Himba girl on the ship. There are stigmas associated with her use of otjize from other people, namely the Khoush. Binti has never been felt offended by her looks or ashamed of her heritage, in fact, she thinks she is a medium to fill the gap among her culture and others.

This particular Meduse later touches Bintiâ€™s hair, coated in otjize, and heals his tentacle. It surprises both Binti and Miduse that her edan is creating a communication bridge between them.
