@Live for yourself

It’s March 1965, I work at a publishing company. It’s not the best job but it helps me get by. But today I found out that all the women are getting paid less than the men with the same jobs. And even those women who are publishers are treated like assistants and asked to fetch coffee for the men. This whole experience leaves a bad taste in my mouth. One day I find a copy of Atlas Shrugged in the corner abandoned, this book preaches that there is no one more worth living for than yourself, follow your own desires, create art, and be a free thinker.

What should I do?

Quit! That isn’t okay! I don’t want to be apart of this sexist ideology.

I’ve been wanting to do my own thing for a while now. This is a perfect excuse! I will quit.

I need the money I can’t quit. And I’m a man so this doesn’t affect me.
