Back in the 5th century, a woman by the name of Bali owned an emerald. This emerald had the power to turn back time. The origin on how Bali got the emerald is unknown, but what is known is that this emerald had the power to take down a whole kingdom. Today, the location of the emerald is unknown, lost after the kingdom fell. The only clue found was that it was put into a necklance and the last known location was in Peru years ago. It is up to you to go to Peru to track down the emerald before it is placed in the wrong hands.
[[Fly to Peru]] You're in the international airport in Peru, and you're looking at the flight schedule trying to find the town of Hacchhi, the last known location of the Emerald. The problem is Hacchhi is not listed under the schedule in the next couples weeks. You look farther ahead in the future. You find out there are no flights there ever! What do you do?
[[Smack yourself in the face for being stupid]]
[[Maybe there is no airport? Go find a map]]Really.... You picked this choice. Go back and choose the right one.
[[Fly to Peru]] You found a map, and guess what. Hacchhi isn't shown on the map! I know you're probably really shocked by this discovery. There is only two options you have right now, just pick a random town and go to it. Or you can go ask some locals if they have heard of Hacchhi. Which will it be?
[[Fly to a random city]]
[[Go ask the locals]]You did it again, picked the irrational decision. Are you sure you want to move forward?
[[Yes move forward with this irrational decision that wastes so much adventure money!]]
No I'll go back [[Maybe there is no airport? Go find a map]]
You're walking the streets of the city in Peru, hoping to find someone that speaks a language you speak. Even though you did take a beginnier crash course on Spanish, it is probably better to find someone who speaks more English.
[[Approach the old lady selling a hand woven basket at the straw market]]
[[Approach the business man in the suit holding a starbucks staring at his phone]]No, but serious go ask the locals.
[[Go ask the locals]]You approach the native woman. ¿Hola hablas Inglés?
The old woman said: "¡Sí! How can I help you?"
I want to travel to a town called Hacchhi, but can not seem to find it on a map. I was wondering if you could help me. Point me in the right direction?
"Oh Yes, Hacchhi. The lost city. You have came in search of the emerald of mother Bali. You must go to Chachu, he owns an airplane and he is the only person who would take anybody there."
Where can I find this Chachu?
"You will find him the next block over he will have on a green hat, also some advice. Do not speak of this quest. The lost city is forbidden. Many of sought but none have been successful. Be careful."
[[Go find Chachu]]You apporach the man and ask if he speaks English. ¿Hola hablas ingles?
"Sí lo hago, pero no tengo tiempo para ti. Estúpido americano. ¡Alejarse de mí!"
Ok I'm pretty sure that man said yes, but I also think he called me a stupid American.
[[Go sit in the corner and cry]]
[[Approach the old lady selling a hand woven basket at the straw market]]Stop being soft, you didn't come all the way to Peru for a time traveling gem just to cry.
[[Approach the old lady selling a hand woven basket at the straw market]]You're walking down the block searching for a man in a green hat. A green hat... that's all I can go by? There are probably a thousand men with green hats in this city.
You come to the block over and scan the area. No green hats. I am feeling a little hungry though.
[[Go to the burger place on the corner]]
[[Go ask someone if they know a Chachu with a green hat]]You come to sit at the counter. You wonder if you're ever going to get to Hacchhi. If the emerald falls in the wrong hands. The universe could be destroyed. History could be wiped out.
Just then a man comes into view. It's the cook from the back. He has a green hat on! What should I do?
[[Order a burger first you're hungry]]
[[Ask him if he is Chachu!]]You find a woman planting a garden. She seems to live around here. She probably knows where Chachu is.
Hola senora, do you know a Chachu?
"Hola, Chachu? Let me think. Oh that's right. There is a Chachu that cooks at that burger place on the corner."
"Gracias Senora!"
[[Go to the burger place on the corner]]Mmmm you ordered the southwest burger with avacado. It was quite good. You see that the cook with the green hat is still there!
[[Ask him if he is Chachu!]] Hola senor, is there a chance your name Chachu?
"Sí, how can I help you"
I spoke to this woman and she sent me to find you. She said that you have a plane and is willing to trave to Hacchhi. Will you be able to take me.
"Ah, you talked to senora Cara. She loves sending people my way, but yes I can take you. Meet back here in the morning. We have to leave before sunrise. No one can know where we are going"
[[Go meet before sunrise]]Chachu was there when you get there that morning. He loads the plane and you are headed out.
[[Fly to Hacchhi]]3 hours and a very bumpy plane ride later, you land. Chachu tells you "Go on lad get out, I don't like resting here to long. If you need to be picked up, which is a big if, radio me."
You scatter out of the plane with your pack in tow and watch Chachu take off in the other direction. Now where to start.
[[Make a shelter and wait till morning to explore.]]
[[Start exploring the land around you.]]You make a shelter with the tent you bring and start a fire. It is good to rest for a day before heading into a dangerous investigation. You make some rice out of the pack you brought from home and relax till the next morning.
[[Sleep till next morning]]You walk off and investigate the land. You see that the landscape is wet, not common for the dry Chile air. You try your best to explore the land around you without getting to muddy, but there is something up ahead. You see two things, a pile of dry rocks and some dry tall grass. You think to yourself, how are they so dry while everything is basically a swamp? What should you investigate?
[[Go to the rocks.]]
[[Go to the tall grass.]]You come to the rocks. It seems more like a fortress when you get closer. You wonder how the rocks came to be. You see an opening where you can fit through. You can either enter or go investigate the tall grass you saw before.
[[Enter the rock fortress]]
[[Go to the tall grass.]] You start to walk through the tall grass and see nothing speical. All you can notice is how the ground is so dry here while everything else is mud. You are looking through the grass when out of no where you here a rattling. A rattle? You can't see where the rattling is coming from till you part the grass and see a rattle snack looking right at you! You back up slowly and it starts progressing towards you. The only thing that you see is the rocks from before. The only decision is to run to them.
[[Run as fast as you can to the rocks]]You wake up refreshed and ready to take on this emerald and anything that comes with it. You walk off and investigate the land.
[[Go to the tall grass.]] You sprint and the snack takes off. You think you can make it, but you slip! You fall right at the base of the Rocks and eye level to the snack. But the snack stops. It looks up and sees the rocks and turns and rushes away. That was odd. You get up and see the opening to get into the rock fortress. Might as well go in since you're already there.
[[Enter the rock fortress]]You enter and right there in the middle of the fortress is the emerald! It can't be this easy, you just got here. But then you see all the bones on the ground of past explorers. You look at the platform the emerald is being displayed on. You see all these music notes. It looks like a puzzle. Probably the way to get the emerald. What should you do?
[[Look at the puzzle to try to figure it out]]
[[Take the chance and grab the emerald]]You investigate the puzzle and see it is of music notes. You try to arrange the notes to correlate with Chile traditional music. Nothing happens.
[[Take the chance and grab the emerald]]
[[Look at the puzzle again]]You go to take the emerald by once you get close you hear a something moving. You look above and see a disc flying. Thank goodness for your fast relexes because you dodge the blade. Now you see why there are all these bones.
[[Look at the puzzle again]]You look at the music notes in the puzzle, you notice that the notes are from a song your great grandma used to sing to you when you were younger. You arrange the notes to go along with the song. When you're done a bar appears!
[[Pull the bar]]The emerald is released you have done it! Now you can take the emerald back where it belongs. In a museum back home!
