(text-style:"buoy")[[[Press->Start Screen]] to start.]Welcome to the Blue Marble. The year is 2048. Advancements in biotechnology have resulted in a division of society. Those who can afford the treatment become higher beings known as the Altoriens. The Altoriens have developed beasts to protect them known as Albas. The utopian city where the Altoriens live is separated from the slums where non-enhance people live by a giant wall. You can choose to be either a part of the enhanced members of society or the ostracized people living in worse conditions.
Mr. Lyvers! Make sure you play as both characters
[[Press->Altoriens]] to become an Altorien
[[Press->Human]] to become a normal HumanYour name is Ned Nemhoff, fortunately, your family was able to afford genetic engineering to improve your looks and get silver hair given your connections to the government and social status. As a result, you are given the privilege to live within the city walls of Altoria where you are treated as a superior being by the non-enhanced and are protected by the Alba. In fact, you have Alba that follows you around and is named Cicero. Your job is to oversee the workers at a gene store in the mall of Altoria.
[[Press->Work 2]] to go to workYour name is Ben Hoffman, unfortunately, your family was never able to afford genetic engineering to improve your looks and get silver hair. As a result, you are forced to live outside the city walls and live in horrible conditions with all the world's pollution around you. You're forced to work and provide for your family.
[[Press->Work 1]] to go to workWhile at work, the overseers who are part of the Altoriens start harassing one of the other workers. He speaks up and they hit him, threatening him with further violence if he doesn't learn his place.
[[Press->Stop the Violence]] to stop the Altoriens from abusing the worker
[[Press->Ignore]] to ignore what’s happeningYou speak up about the actions taken by the Altoriens and they move over to you and force you to go outside where they throw you into the snow and put a gun to your head. After forcing you to stay in the freezing temperatures all day they force you back to work and you work until morning.
[[Press->Home]]to go homeYou ignored the worker's pleas and the guards take him outside, the workers continue in silence until the sound of machines wiring is interrupted by a gunshot outside. The worker never returns.
[[Press->Home]] to go homeAfter walking 10 miles home to the ghetto, you quickly stop by the local run-down pharmacy and pick up your mother’s medicine. The shopkeeper warns you that prices are going to go up soon. Finally, you return home and give the medicine to your bed-ridden mother and take care of the chores.
[[Press->Work 2 NE]]to go to work
[[Press->Explore]] to explore the townAfter a quick 2 minute ride on the hyperloop, you are at work. The Alba recognize the smell of your pheromones, genetically altered to pull up your ID. A man walks into the store with his young daughter. They do not have silver hair—the Alba group together, forming a blockade. The man says, “My name is Cicero, please you have to let my daughter in, she is terminally ill with cancer that has spread throughout her body. Please, I will sell everything as long as she can have treatment.”
[[Press->Continue Altorien]] to continueIt is forbidden to enter Altoria without a genetically placed ID. You also know that it is forbidden and punishable by exile to help the non-enhanced. Still, something else tells you that you should support this man free of charge as the procedure is relatively cheap but marked up heavily to separate the rich from the poor. Nobody has entered the store yet other than the man and his child so you should be able to get away with giving him the gene therapy, however, this still runs the risk of getting caught.
[[Press->Help the man]] if you wish to help the man given the possibility of exile if you are caught
[[Press->Game Over]] to deny this man entry and have the Alba escort him and his daughter to jail for entering this part of the town.You signal to the Albas to hold off, you have granted this man safe passage. You again signal to the Albas, this time telling them to stay back as you direct the father and his daughter into a back room. There you inject the daughter with special nanites that enter each cell and change their DNA. Her complexion improves as all the cancerous cells in her body are either killed or turned back into stable cells. However, it's up to you now if you want to help them get back to safety.
[[Press->Safety]] to help them get to safety
[[Press->Ignore and Die]] to ignore them now that you cured themThis man is just like you. What difference does it make if he is rich or poor, he loves his daughter and is protective of his family. What you did is shameful even if it is the right thing to do according to Altorien society. There is no hope for you.
[[Press->Start Screen]] to start again
[[Press->End of Game]] to end the gameWhile back at work, the harsh conditions of the factory make you feel dizzy in the head. Unfortunately, one of the Altoriens with their Alba is patrolling your workstation. If they catch you slacking off they might even execute you.
[[Press->Work more]] to continue going through the motions of working.You decide to go out and explore the town. While out, you visit the local dump to empty the trash, and whilst walking, you make a wrong turn. You end up at the wall that divides the paradise where the Altoriens live, and the slums, where non-enhanced people live. The wall has guns trained on searchlights, and can detect the genetic makeup of any person that comes within range to stop anyone except Altoriens from entering.
[[Press->Game Over Get Shot]] to approach the wall
[[Press->Return Safely Home]] to turn back and return homeThe Altorien sees you and approaches you. His Alba was able to sense that you weren’t working. He yells at you, calls you a pig, and orders you to step outside. The faces of your co-workers stay silent and subdued as you are dragged outside and beaten.
[[Press->Return Safely Home]] to return homeYou decided to approach the wall. However, the biosensors immediately detected your presence and without hesitation, the guns fired on your position. You attempt to escape but a bullet punctures your torso and you die. Nobody but the crows tend to your body as you rot under the scorching sun. GAME OVER
[[Press->Start Screen]] to start again
[[Press->End of Game]] to end the gameWhile at home you hear your mother violently coughing in the other room. You rush over but there is nothing you can do as her medicine has become too expensive for you to buy. Eventually, the coughing fit ends and your mother beckons you over to her. She whispers, "I know that I don’t have much time left so I just want you to take care of yourself. My cancer is terminal, and there is nothing I can do. I’ve never told you before but we actually could afford gene therapy for you but I decided against it because I want you to make decisions for yourself and for you to decide your own fate.” As she closes her eyes to rest, you steel your nerves and decide that you will do anything you can to save your mother.
[[Press->Ignore Game Over]] to ignore the needs of your mother and continue on with life
[[Press->Seek Treatment]] to attempt to get her life-saving treatmentSome time after deciding not to risk your own life to save your mother’s, you have a particularly hard time at work and end up making a foolish mistake, setting the factory back several work hours. As a result, one of the Altoriens once again takes you outside where they unleash an Alba at you.
GAME OVER
[[Press->Start Screen]] to restart
[[Press->End of Game]] to end the gameNow that you have decided to help save your mother you must decide on a course of action to scale the wall that divides the paradise where the Altoriens live and the slums where non-enhanced people live.
[[Press->Hide]] to hide in one of the factory shipments and wait until it rains to mask the scent of your pheromones from the Alba
[[Press->Game Over Shot]] to attempt to climb the wallYou barely manage to sneak in as one of the Albas seemed to have detected something was off. The city is sparkling white just like the characteristic eyes and hair of the Altoriens and everything was clean. However, you know that the more time you spend here the more risk there is of being found.
[[Press->Game Over Shot]] to go to the higher, more heavily guarded, levels of the city
[[Press->Lower Levels]] to go into the lower, less heavily guarded, levels of the cityYou and your mother decide to sneak into the higher and even more sophisticated part of Altoria. However, the higher presence of Albas meant that you were found by the Altoriens immediately and you are chased to the city wall until they corner, and kill you. A street sweeper sprays a concentrated jet of water towards your corpses and you are washed into the sewers of Altoria via a storm canal. GAME OVER
[[Press->Start Screen]] to restart
[[Press->End of Game]] to end the gameDown in the lower levels, there is a lesser police presence. While the area where you grew up still pales in comparison, the lower levels are certainly less appealing than the above. After some time, you manage to find a gene-editing shop and decide to risk asking for help.
[[Press->Game Over Die Selfish]] to lie and ask the man to give you a vaccine that will turn you into an Altorien and cure any disease
[[Press->Tell the truth]] to tell truth the about your mother who is suffering from a rare diseaseHe alerts authorities of your presense and they shoot you.
GAME OVER
[[Press->Start Screen]] to restart
[[Press->End of Game]] to end the gameAfter telling the shopkeeper about your mother's rare disease, heer feels an ounce of sympathy for your case and decides to give the vaccine that provides immunity towards diseases. In gratitude, you give him the entirety of your savings but he tells you to keep it as you need the help more than he does as the actions committed by his people towards the people who could not afford gene-editing have been atrocious.
[[Press->Leave to Home]] to attempt to leave Altoria and return homeWhile at the gates of Altoria, you overhear Altorien police guards saying that some pig hadn’t shown up for their regular work duty and when they decided to investigate they found his sick mother at home and killed her. Your skips a beat as the situation they described is the same as yours. Looking up, you can see that they are the same guards from the factory that you work at.
[[Press->No Choice Anyways .]] to keep your head down and avoid suspicion
[[Press->No Choice Anyways .]] to make a run for itWhile at jail you are starved until an officer comes down to interrogate you. He finally reveals that what the previous officers were saying about your mother was really the truth. He then tells you that you are going to be sent to the eastern front as the Altorien empire is at war with a rival empire and they do not wish to sacrifice the life of any precious Altoriens.
[[Press->Go to War]] to go to warThe Altorien officer herds you and various other non-enhanced humans into trucks that transport you due east towards the raging war. Most Altoriens, who used bioengineering to increase their intelligence and physical strength were able to increase the disparity between the non-enhanced people while still creating their own paradise free of any disease. However, this led to two separate races of human beings which once dominated the other completely. As a non-enhanced human being, going to war ended up as a death sentence for you and millions of others as their lives were deemed expendable.
[[Press->End of Game]] to end the game(text-colour:red)[(align:"=><=")[(text-style:"outline","buoy")[GAME OVER]]]

[[Press->Start Screen]] to play againHaving decided to help the non-enhanced humans escape, you must think of the best method to help them.
[[Press->Climb the wall]] to try to climb the wall
[[Press->Edit Genes]] to use gene-editing to give them Altorien characteristicsYou decided to ignore them. However, the Altorien police managed to catch them and trace back the nanites in the daughter's body to your shop. As a result, you were captured as well and exiled to live among the non-enhanced humans where their hatred towards Altoriens led to your death.
GAME OVER
[[Press->Start Screen]] to restart
[[Press->End of Game]] to end the gameOnce you reach the wall, you notice that there is a high amount of guards with their Albas nearby. As a genetically-enhanced being, you are able to use your incredible strength to climb the wall in an instance but you forget that the non-enhanced humans are unable to do so and they are caught in the attempt which further leads to your capture. Unfortunately, the two humans are killed immediately by the Altoriens and you are exiled to face a similar fate.
GAME OVER
[[Press->Start Screen]] to restart
[[Press->End of Game]] to end the gameYou further inject both of them with a temporary solution that will disguise both of them as Altoriens. However, whilst walking through the main gate of the wall, you overhear some Altorien guards searching everyone, asking for your description. It seems as though some of your co-workers told the guards about what you were planning to do.
[[Press->Run for It and Die Maybe]] to try to make a run for it
[[Press->Give Up Game Over]] to give upYou and the non-enhanced humans make a sprint for the exit. However, your incredible speed from the genetic enhancements far surpasses the speed of the other two and they quickly fall behind.
[[Press->Vehicle]] to commandeer a vehicle
[[Press->Escape on your own and die]] to escape on your ownWhat did you think was going to happen? You gave up. Of course you lost the game.
GAME OVER
[[Press->Start Screen]] to restart
[[Press->End of Game]] to end the gameYou quickly push one of the Altorien guards out of the truck and the other two hop in. Immediately, the Altorien guards start shooting the truck but you manage to avoid the roadblocks as you weave through the tunnel. Now that you have escaped, you have to decide where to stay as you can no longer go back to Altoria.
[[Press->Town of normal folk]] to go to one of the towns where the non-enhanced humans are forced to live
[[Press->REENTER ALTORIA TO DIE]] to attempt to re-enter AltoriaYou manage to escape without the other two but having never been to this region of Altoria where the environment is so hostile unlike the city, you quickly succumb to the elements and die.
GAME OVER
[[Press->Start Screen]] to restart
[[Press->End of Game]] to end the gameAs you and the other two enter the filthy town, your silver hair catches a lot of stares but nobody dares to confront an Altorien. As a result, you peacefully make it to the man's home where he serves you poor-tasting food and you sleep in a tiny bed.
[[Press->Continue Town]] to continueUnfortunately, unlike last time, the Altorien guards are prepared for you in the tunnel and you hit an unavoidable roadblock and the crash renders you unconscious. You never wake up again.
GAME OVER
[[Press->Start Screen]] to restart
[[Press->End of Game]] to end the gameThe very next morning a commotion outside makes you look outside from the window. There you can see an Altorien with a tank telling the townspeople, “if you do not comply and tell me where the missing human is then I swear that I will raze this town to the ground. I would never hesitate to kill a couple of pigs like you.” At the same time, one of the Altoriens points a gun into the crowd and shoots for no apparent reason. The crowd stays silent for a second but a scream is heard from somewhere in the back and the whole crowd charges forward to kill the Altoriens.
[[Press->Join the Fight]] to join the fight
[[Press->Stay in the Hut]] to stay in the hutThe rest of the townspeople approach you and say thank you. Clearly, they trust you a lot more than they did before. However, you know that the Altoriens will come again but with stronger forces to defeat the townspeople.
[[Press->Flee and Die]] to flee
[[Press->Revolt]] to start a revolution and defend the townThe difference in power between the Altoriens and non-enhanced humans was immense and they managed to overpower the entire crowd with their superhuman abilities. As a result, their Albas managed to track you down and they captured you, leading to your death.
GAME OVER
[[Press->Start Screen]] to restartYou decide that the safest course of action is to flee but the Altoriens with their Albas manage to track you down anyway. On your way back, you pass back through the town. However, everything is burning now and the townspeople are nowhere to be found. You are then killed by one of the guards for treason.
GAME OVER
[[Press->Start Screen]] to restart
[[Press->End of Game]] to end the gameThe news of your victory quickly spreads to many other towns and news of other towns overpowering their Altorien guards quickly returns. Later, with you as a figurehead, the townspeople unite with millions of other non-enhanced humans to charge the wall and bring it down.
[[Press->Doesn't Matter]] to join them
[[Press->Doesn't Matter]] try to back awayThe crowd pushes you forward and there's no way to slow it down. A fight that lasts for days ensues and millions are killed or injured. However, in one of the decisive moments of the battle, when your squad of non-enhanced humans is setting up a bomb to finally tear the wall down, the detonator malfunctions and must be manually detonated. You are the only person who can do it as your superior abilities allow you to get close to the bomb.
[[Press->Kali Ma]] to sacrifice yourself and win the war
[[Press->Save your own life]] to save your own lifeYou reach the bomb and detonate it. The blast shakes the Earth for miles and completely destroys the wall. Unfortunately, you are of course caught in the blast and are killed. However, with this, the non-enhanced humans are finally able to enter Altoria and topple the government. After some reconstruction, all Altoriens are pardoned for their crimes, and a new law is established that bioengineering for anything but the purpose of curing diseases is illegal and carries a heavy sentence. Most of them lived happily ever after
[[Press->End of Game]] to end the gameThe superior technology and abilities of the Altoriens finally manage to win the war as the wall provided the ultimate defense throughout the war. Millions of non-enhanced humans are killed and they are completely stripped of their rights and are forced to work in fully controlled labor camps. You are also sent to one of these camps where you work until you die.
