You are twelve years old when the story begins, set during the Holocaust in the concentration camp Terezin. The year is 1942. You are so young and afraid, but as you age, you begin to realize what matters most. Will you attempt to rebel against the Nazis in order to save your sister, or will you risk your own life by protecting the ones you love most?
