@dan_illo What worked for me was use [thing] on [dark place]. Anyone know how to open the metal box? The comments point to the magpie, but I've explored everywhere and there is no magpie in sight.

The beautiful screen immediately grasps the player's attention. I especially like that the game balances the forever planet search loop with casualties from space accidents. The rich lore and political structure of the end result makes this game replayable.
