I've split the old "Games and Chat" forum into two separate forums. This "Chat" forum contains all the posts from old "Games and Chat" forum.

What this forum is for

General chat and discussion about anything not related to Quest.

What this forum is NOT for

Please post anything that IS related to Quest to one of the other forums.

Moderators

Moderators shall lock any "flamewar" threads to avoid long and pointless bickering matches. They must also post a message to the thread saying that they have locked it.

Moderators shall delete posts only if they are obviously spam or contain offensive material. Otherwise the thread should just be locked.

Alex, can we also add that if a mod deletes a remark, then it should not be repeatedly reposted? Can we also make that a banning offence?

Can I make a request that if threads are started complaining about other forum members, whether justifiably or not, they get either deleted sraight off? Leaving them on the forum just a) makes the place look like a madhouse and b) encourages lots of bad blood.

It has laready been decided that the deletion of entire threads is bad form, but I'm sure Alex can clarify it.

Yeah, the only reason I didn't delete the original threads was because it wasn't really 'offensive' but was rather inducing a flame war, etc... I sent a list to Unknown after he accused me of trying to 'silence his free speech'.
