I am totally amazed at this for some reason. I decided to download the Age of Empires III demo this morning (right now in the US) from here.
It's a 426MB download which would normally take like an hour or so if you're downloading around 50KB per second. I was downloading and looking on the Axe forums when I looked down to see that I had already downloaded 50%. When I looked at the download window, it showed I'm downloading at 770KB per second!!!!!
Maybe I'm easily amazed. Has anyone ever downloaded something that fast before?
Oh, time to end my post, I just downloaded the remaining 30% or so that was left while I was typing this post!

I regulariy download at 900 kb/s, but I have a 7 MBps / 1 MBps line (down/up).

You are a lucky fellow. I think I'm on a 3 MBps line at the moment.

I'm topped at 100-110K, although I'll try and up-the-ante soon enough to 400-ish (maybe.... if BT don't screw me over).

I can get about 760K/sec on that file from here. My ISP claims "up to 24mb" connections but in reality it tends to connect at about 7mb. Which is plenty fast enough though, to be honest...

Ha, ha ha! You're all so inferior. Not to brag, but a little boast is in order. Yep! Can't say enough about myself or think about it. My fastest downloads clock in at about 20Kbps. You read it right... 20Kbps!! That's a 2 followed by a 0! And I'm even lucky enough if my computer doesn't freeze before a download finishes. So while y'all are trying to figure out what to do with that extra 20 or so minutes you've gained by downloading at a quicker pace than me, I'm forced to use that time to stare at my computer and wait it out. At least my day is set.

By the way, I never felt insulted you thought I was a woman. Women are an integral part to the continuation and development of the Human creature. To possess the aptitude of pregnancy and be placed with the responsibility of a womb is admirable; although, I can say that not all women are admirable. Moreover, some of the less desirable ones still believe that they should be brought free drinks for no particular reason at all; and those same ones might assert that "men have egos."
