Ste's gone through loads of names so maybe you remember him with one of his other names.... And Ste - that's gonna take a while to do. Wouldn't it just be easier to go through using Visual Basic rather then to try and fit in with Alex's ASL? And then if/when you get full ASL (what is it now - 350?) compliance, what are you going to do? You can't ADD syntax structures because ASL is Alex's code structure... The only way to get around it would be to code ASL-ALT (alternative anyone!?) where you use most of ASL's syntax but then your own too.... Kinda useless as you can use VB instead to create your game... The main reason I use Quest instead of code it in VB is because I find Quest to be easy to create games quickly - giving me the ability to create a "test" or "demo" version of the game easily and quickly.
Well the point of my project is to try and do it, i'm actually making a serious full on Text-Based RPG with this, it's just an idea i had about a project, and trying to get a cutom client to work with it. i have seriously no idea whether or not it's going to work, but i will try either way.
plus, its alot quicker than trying to make a while new game with VB, we've already done it (Feudal Online), but got canceled coz we have hardly any time on our hands, and you know how that is.
And i dont think i could remember all of my names... but ill try...
