Hello Freinds,
I have a team of two(excluding me) - a solid writer and an exceptional artist. Together with them, I am planning to create a large scale text adventure game with top quality stories, music and a lot of graphics (mainly videos). Is it possible to create such a project with Quest?
Also, how compatible is it with android and iOS? Can i export my games free of charge? I don't mind paying for certain features.
Hello.
music and a lot of graphics (mainly videos)
If you have Windows, and you're using the desktop version of Quest, you can make a game as big as you please.
...but, if you want to submit the game to this site (which is the only way Quest games can be played online), you have to keep the game under 20MB.

You can, however, upload your video and audio files to an external site and link to them. The game file itself, without audio or video, would have to contain an unimaginable amount of code to reach 20MB.
A Quest game is basically a website, but it does not consist of HTML, CSS, or JS files. It is an .aslx file (which is pretty much an .xml file), which is archived as a .quest file. You can use HTML, CSS, and/or JS code in your game, though. It just doesn't compile to those formats.
Which leads us to...

It is not.
The creator of Quest started up a few projects, aspiring to convert Quest to work on any platform AND compile the games as websites, but all were abandoned.
A couple of them kind of almost work, but neither will create fully-functional Quest games.
So, Quest does not currently have a way to compile the games to websites.
Theory: you could probably submit your game to this site, then copy the game's URL.
Create an app which just opens that URL in the browser.
Bang! The game is in your device! (Internet connection required.)
