Strange things seem to happen when Arbutus is online: posts go missing without warning and explanation! Strangely, he seems to delete certain posts and yet leave others around for all and sundry to see. Is there any kind of logic to this or is he just a new mod on a power trip?

I've noticed one or two things gone when he was around..
But then again I've removed a few things that were a bit bad and didn't think to mention it.

I'm moving onto the edit/lock method now, as Alex has sent through an email saying what he want's deleted in the future.

I'll be posting some forum policies in a few days which should clear things up a bit hopefully.

If anybody has any objections about any actions taken by any moderator, please let me know all the details and I'll have a look into the matter. It would help if you could let me know the subject line of the post or thread being deleted for example.

Well this very thread was actually deleted three times by Arbutus before my sheer damn persistence made him leave it here.

There was also my post in the "Zelimos Leaves" thread. I posted it, browsed another forum for a couple of minutes, then came back to this one and found Arbutus had deleted it. So I re-posted it and then actually sat there and clicked refresh a few times. Sure enough, he deleted it again. So I reposted it. He deleted it. I think that went on four or five times before he finally realised I was going to keep reposting it until it stayed and then he left. I know it was him that deleted it because we were the only two people on the forum at the time.

I could understand him deleting it if what I'd posted was really offensive, but compared to many of O_Vaughan and Unknown's insane ramblings, it was actually quite tame. Which kind of makes me suspect he's just deleting stuff for the sake of it and not because it actually warrants deleting.

(Rest assured that I've kept a copy of this post so if Arbutus happens across it before anyone else, I'll just repost it.)

Well, well, well... You are the one to call people insane. You post all these violent posts. You shouldn't have to wonder why your posts are deleted.
