I like the "Are you human" question mod's... Very nice. Means, whoever registers MUST be a human, in which case you should be able to grab their IP address and contact the ISP.. Unless they use a proxy (obviously)... But why go to such lengths (register in person AND go via proxy) just for this forum?

Looking at the number of spam bots you get on this forum, though, it would be nice to see something done about them. I've seen three separate ones today alone.

Thanks GameBoy. I have seen that before and I should look into it in a bit more detail.
I think the level of spam is just about tolerable at the moment, as it only takes a few seconds to delete. It is quite annoying though.
I do find it interesting as well that they only seem to bother with the Chat forum... strange.

I've seen them in the developer and Quest 4 parts of the forum before. In fact, I think there was some spam in the Quest 4 part today.

I saw one earlier today (Tuesday).
So many phpBB forums are now suffering from these spambots, I hope phpBB 3 will do something about that.

Yeah, I've deleted a few of them in the last week or two.
... Not in the last 4 or 5 days though, as I've been MIA.
