What?
Eselo is a project that has been in the works for a while. It's design was based around the realization that we can make Eselo as unique as we like because we are not here to target the masses. Having this in mind, Eselo was/is being designed to bring a feeling of a true RPG in combination with an online experience. On top of that, still knowing that we have the ability to target whatever audience we would like, it is much more elaborate in its design. Some might interchange elaborate with more difficult, as I could agree to that myself. It's not a cake-walk similar to the majority of these sandbox engine-produced games. A serious aspect in such a leisure form of ORPG creation? Yes. Because I did not find my effort, nor my team's effort, leisure. I hate to be so general, but any exacts may ruin the experience.

Why?
I decided to start the project here after several engines in the past have failed me. I obviously was able to carry over my ideas, so getting a start here was not too difficult.

When?
Eselo still has much work to go. Although, we have made an immense amount of progress thus far. Such as the GUI, so close to finished. Tiles/Sprites completed. Content/design always growing, but foundation is by far finished. Etc. I do not have an estimated time of release.

It's trying to encourage nearby villagers to settle uncharted lands. We try to add some small bits of humor throughout the game.

Pieces are coming together! Music and NPCs were finally finished being compiled/pixeled. Although let it be noted, not all sprites are finished in their variations for the paper-dolling effect.

Progress is going well. I will post a few screenshots.

The actual post is in regards to Eselo looking for a strong-willed, talented web designer. Please have experience if you are to reply. No templates - Photoshop Experience - HTML Knowledge, PHP a plus. You will also be setting up the forums.

I am also looking for someone who can do item ripping / alterations without much guidance. You will have to match the environment of the game so that things blend well. I already basically have a matching set, but you will be ripping these and making alterations / customs by mixing them or reproducing the style.

All feedback is welcome. Please ask questions, I would like to give out any information that I can, as long as I don't deem that the answer would be leaking information on a specific, unique-to-Eselo feature.

Woah, uh, looks cool and all, but have you posted this *here* of all places? I expect it to rack up about 7 pages of reply, so I thought I would ask the first question - what are you doing here? Games here are designed in primitive text, not 2d graphics.
