FINALLY!

i've figured out the problem when people try to connect to me, so i got it all figured out now.

I'll be starting on a game again soon, it will be very basic due to QuestNet not allowing more than 3 people to connect, and because of my ASL skills. Even though i'm a frequent member, and have been messing about with the program and the code for a couple of years now, i'm still not that good lol. Here is a list of features i would like to see implemented by the time QuestNet full version comes out....

There are alot of other features which would make this engine GREAT, but i cant think of them right now. Anyway, back to coding i guess.

Loop option: What do you mean? What "loop option"??
Sending messages to other players: You can speak to other players as usual. You could easily build in a system of your own to let players speak to other players anywhere in the game. In one line, maybe "command <message #player# #message#> msgto <#player#; #message#>"
Build maps in game: Just as you do in normal Quest, using "create" and changing properties.

all good, i may need some coding samples on private messages other players, and by memoing, i meant being able to leave players a message if they are offline. :D

now, the loop option is where you loop music, basically, it doesnt loop. I think i read somewhere that QDK doesnt output the code correctly, therefore it needed to be changed in the ASL file, but to what? is my question.

I recall there was a problem with QDK 3.5 Beta in that respect - but it was fixed in the release version of 3.5.

Surely - if you just put the mail message in a variable somewhere... Then have it check for the player if s/he's online - then just come up with a "you've got MAIL" thingy...

An array should be quite sufficient.

hey every one FF7 Rules. i know ff7 is old and has some bad grafes but the story line has some good twists and has a good amount of battle play and near dan impossibile to beat

What Ste said - and I thought it was pretty darn easy myself....

.... That and it has a bad storyline, the actual battle system was worse than the last one they used (IIRC).
