Is there a rule against adding to games after the if comp?

Cryophile
I know I will not be completely finished by Sept next year. If I can't continue to develop the game after the competition is judged, then I will not enter it and I will release it publicly. Can someone verify this? I don't want to have to email stephen granade... I might, though.

You can do whatever you want with your game after the comp is finished although the version that's submitted to the comp will be the one everyone judges.

That's what i said isn't it i looked over the rules (carefully this time) and it doesn't say anything about not bieng able to realease it afterwards but still i'd ask stephen to be sure (oh yeah lookin at your competition i say you gotta hell good chance of winning)

Why do you think there would be a rule stopping you releasing the game afterwards? This is a competition you enter for fun and (hopefully) to win. What goes on after that is nothing to do with the comp organisers or anyone.

Besides which, what could they do after the comp has taken place?
