Just thought I'd mention this here
I've found a great site that creates HTML Calendars for free.

It depends how much time and effort we have to put into it
And we're a growing and developing group. We're not expert coders.
Thanks for the logo, i'll make sure to upload it. And by the way, what program did you use. If you check out the page entitled Jobs you'll find we're looking for a graphics designer. The best program I've got at the moment to do images is The GIMP

to do that i used Adobe Photoshop, that was a 3 minute job right there.

I don't have PhotoShop. The only good image-editing program I've got access to is Fireworks at school and even then I'd get about 5 minutes to use it at a time. I've used Fireworks though, and I know I can't do that in it

Just my 2p's worth:

Freeware image editors don't get a lot better than the GIMP (esp for photos) now in V2.0 form and a lot more PC friendly than it was before.

VuPaint (still free I think) is pretty good for creating gfx from scratch.

Don't have the URL to hand but a simple search will find it - look for the precompiled for windows binaries unless you are a masochist who wants to compile his own... ;-)

If you are buying, best value all rounder IMHO (and from personal experience not second hand) is JASC Paint Shop Pro V8.1 - vector/raster good photo editing, scriptable - lots of graphics power for not a lot of money at all (compared to Adobe & Macromedia's offerings.)

Think there was a freebie of PSP V5 given away on a UK mag not long ago - when V8 came out. V5 is actually still very useful and for free it has to be worth looking out.

good one, Ste
Thanks for the info on image editors Al, I didn't realise I had an out of date version of GIMP.

GIMP seems pretty powerful (at least the Linux version does)... But I must admit it's not ideally user friendly IIRC...

Irfan veiw has a couple of nice filters - I still want to use that "explosion" thingy to show someone exploding and then going bak again in an animated gif...
Anyway, yeah - PhotoShop seems the way to go, I've heard alot of reviews about it and ALOT of people swear by it to create online graphics - next being PSP which is a worthy adversary especially for the price... Although I liked the bug in the last version I owned whereby in the trial version you just pressed canel on the pop-up window and the program still ran... Or the next version from that where you just opened a file using a special technique ;) .
