The recent bombings in London(was it?).

I live in America and the news media is warped beyond sanity. They only seemed to tell us how many AMERICANS died in the bombings. I'm just curious how many people(Americans and all) died in em.

I think I heard 50, but that was the same night - so I don't know exactly.

I didn't really pay too much attention to it as I was recovering from a pretty bad cold all last week... That and the fact bombing's don't really interest me.

I really like the "London (was it?)"... Seeing as it's one of the few Capitals in the world ...

i find it funny that everyone though it was towel-heads but it turned out to be british people. AND NOW there trying to say towel-heads brain-washed then or something!!!! it's always the arabs fault isn't it? i also find it funny that america only says how many americans where killed, shows how much they care about the rest of the world.

I saw 3 un-white muslim's (maybe the same boy *shrugs*) in the newspaper this morning as I passed the 'wall-of-magazines' in the shop.
Didn't really care to stop and read too much, but it did say 3 muslims and provide 3 photo's.

How can you have "towel-heads" as one group of people, and "british" as the other? You can have British muslims, just like you can have white-African's (originally from Britain's former 'Empire', but born in Africa somewhere).
If you mean coloured, or mix-skinned (is it mixed skinned? what are the 'middle people'?) then it's not offensive (or if it is, then they have serious self-hate issues) to say 'black'.

Everybody is referring to being muslim as a certain race - it's a religious choice. I didn't mention it in my last post and should have.

As for me, I was around Euston station at the time, about half a mile away from the bus bomb. Fortunately nobody I know was caught up in anything.

my ex girlfriends sister was in 3. She was late for the train that blew up, and almost got caught in the second station bomb. She was on the bus that was behind the bus that blew up. the front of her bus was wrecked but luckily she was sitting at the back. She then got put on a train that had 2 bombs on it, and got evacuated while they defused them (I haven't read about that one so i'm not sure if that actually happened, or if it wa just a scare).

Must have been like final destination or something.

Thanks for your input and such. The news pisses me off around here so much that I threw a brick at my TV. Broke the sucker wide open.

When I posted this, I was on a rather slow computer, so surfing around for valid information would be tough work. But thanks for your help, guys.
