downloading .aslx files

I haven't done this in a long while, but I thought there was an option to download the actual .aslx file from this website? Am at hallucinating or did that actually use to be an option?

Also, I just updated the Tutorials "game" and suggested that anyone that wants the .aslx files should send me an email and I will email it to them. Is there a more efficient way to do this?

As for your second question, you could upload the .aslx file to GitHub, for example:

https://github.com/textadventures/quest/releases

The Pixie could help you with that.

For your own games created with the web editor, there's a download button on the 'My Games' list.

Put it into the .quest file?

I'm not sure if you could add .aslx to the list of extensions that will be included in the published file in the same way you do for image/video formats, or if Quest would ignore it. If not, the published game is a zip file with a different extension, so any zip utility should be able to add another file to it.

People can download and unzip your game; or you could use GetFileURL to link to the file from the game itself.

Cool. Thanks for the options!
