It was tricky to figure out, but this was the first game I finished. I like how you could get a list of the things in the room, and access hints and a solution. Really helps a scatterbrained rookie. Pretty good!

You need to fix the bug when searching the pillow twice.
And call the handle something other than hatchhandle. At least make its printed name hatch handle or something.
And, obviously the grammar.
