A Poirot-Grimoire-Gently-esque murder mystery that will require all of Greene’s—rounding up—half century of life experience to solve! Will he be able to do it, and how much older will he be when he does?

I've started.

It's a very strong and enjoyable beginning. I like that you've strongly hinted at what verbs you've implemented. Especially, not many games implement "ask _ about _". You have, and I love it.

1. You could implement "in" when entering, as a synonym for the correct compass direction.
2. After finding a clue it's nice if you don't railroad me into not being allowed to investigate it. Without spoiling too much, I'd like to be able to back outside the house to see the outside of a room.
