A new virus was discovered in a Chinese central city, HanChang. People infected showed symptoms such as headache and persistent feeling of anxiety. The disease progression could result in losing control of consciousness. Then, people should gradually lose control and bite non-infected ones. The plague propagated so fast that the whole HanChang became a ghost city within several days.

You will play as Terry, a student in HanChang Medical University. Ever since Terry was a child, he dreams to be an eminent doctor and like his father, the vice dean of HanChang First Hospital. However, Terry, along with his family, was involved in a car accident the day before the outbreak of virus, which caused severe injury to his body and brain; he had been a serious coma since then.
