You will play help Lily, a teenage girl go shopping at the mall to check out shoes, dresses, jewelry, and other fashionable knickknacks. However, this is Lily’s first time visiting the mall after watching a documentary about sweatshops. As a result, Lily wants to shop smart and avoid supporting sweatshops. The goal of the game is to help Lily navigate the mall while being sweatshop aware. This game should be an immersive and approachable way to learn about sweatshop issues.

It is recommended to first play the game as if you were shopping normally in real life. In playing as you would shop normally, you can see how your real-life choices hold up in terms of sweatshop awareness. The second time around, you are suggested to use your resources and shop as “smartly” as you can. Hopefully, after helping Lily, knowledge from this game can be applied to real life shopping habits.
