Travel to planets in the 88 constellations to collect treasure.
After the introduction - which you can skip - you start in a space port on Mars. From there you can visit the food court, bar, casino, or take a trip to one of the constellations. Some trips may have risks, others will have rewards.
This is a work in progress. I put this together in a couple of hours as an experiment to see if multiple people can contribute to an adventure game. Global variables are health, treasure, money (issued in space coins), tickets (you buy a ticket to travel to a planet), and frequent flyer (a customer loyalty program). This has a simple scoring system.
Contributions to the code will be selecting a constellation (such as "Aquarius"), writing a mini-adventure that increments/decrements any of the global variables, and return back to the main port terminal. Any code that is added to the main program receives in return all of the code. I'm more interested in collaboration than in a high quality game. But if a playable game is the result, so much the better.
I got the idea from a book I read many years ago and can't remember the author or title. If anyone recognizes this, then please let me know.
