-SOME SPOILERS-
After playing this for a day or so, I am enjoying it! For a first game it's very good, and I hope to post a proper review when I have finished.
For the most part there's very few issues with the game, but there's one or two bugs that may need fixed -
- after opening the sarcophagus and being told that there is a figure there inside, you can't look at the figure without looking at the sarcophagus. I don't know if that's because I chose to open the sarcophagus before looking at it, but it seems odd.
- in the room with the column and the shark jaws, I can't look at the silver push plate, as the object is not recognized. I haven't unlocked this door yet, but a description of the plate would be useful.
- in the room leading to the courtyard, I have the same problem; a plaque with a yellow card inserted into it on the south door is mentioned, but I can't look at this. This also happens in the room with the tapestry, where the relief squares are mentioned (although not important, it is mentioned and thus I want to know more).
- also in the room leading to the courtyard, the description has an unfinished sentence in the middle of it.
- some of the descriptions remain the same even after objects are interacted with. I think this happens once or twice, but all I can remember right now is the camera, one card swiper (you can still swipe the card even after the door has been unlocked) and the room with the trash can, where it is still overflowing even after the rubbish has been picked up.
- on a less technical note, the player doesn't seem to have much of a reaction to the corpse or the eye in the peephole. Wouldn't they be somewhat disturbed by this?
These are pretty minor issues however, and it's excellent fun. I am stuck currently trying to get through the doors with the tree, the number pad, the push plate, the missing door handle, the smoke detector, the screen and the card swiper (the one at the bottom of the south hallway), and hav
